Near Antique Homer Laughlin Wells Vegetable Bowl | Soprano Vegetable Bowl

Introduced in 1930 by Homer Laughlin China, the Wells shape was designed for simplicity and elegance. Soprano features a simple yet lovely and colorful floral pattern. The handles and lid knob have striking green striping, with platinum bands. Platinum bands also run along the foot, lid, and both outside and inside rim. For being nearly a century young, the bowl is in very good condition without chips, cracks, flaking, or stains. The black and white Peacock backstamp is a rarity to find as most Wells ceramics have a colored peacock. There is some very light crazing on the bowl, and more crazing on the lid.
