I'm not sure why the tag says "swim"- when I got them I asked customer support, and they said they are not a swim item. So strange. They are a smooth, compressive bathing suit like material, and do a great job to keep you cool in summertime. Unfortunately I don't reach for them. *there are some faint detergent stains at the base of each leg- I tried to capture them. They are not very noticeable when on. As I paid more than $50, I am pricing them accordingly because of the stains*
