Whimsical, 1940s-esque. When you wear this dress out, you are wearing a piece of art. Even after you own it for months you may discover something new about it, the detail in the finishes, the stitching, the fabrics and trim, the buttons, the print. There’s an under skirt like a slip which is a full half slip but printed, it’s not an animal print but it’s more unique than that, with horizontal stitching and the pink lace. It’s reminiscent of a 1940s dress, with all the detail that makes you like you could be stepping out with your white gloves to do your grocery shopping but in the real world today, you’ll be wearing this either to the office or to class,and you won’t be overdressed, just elegant-chique- but it will take you right to dinner and drinks as the underskirt is calf or ankle length, depending on your height and either will work great. The back is so unique with the collar looking like a front collar, and again the detail is in the stitching. The print is sweet with flowers and a lassie- faced dog. This dress was bought with the idea that it was to be a prom dress and it would be totally suitable, however it was not the final selection! So the real real tags are still on it and it is awaiting to be worn. The fit is loose, and it would fit a size 2, invisible zipper on the side!
