This is a handcrafted item made in our factory in the Philippines by trained craftsmen. It takes weeks to make this piece and is a true work of art. Wood base is covered in handwoven buntal mat made from the natural fiber of the Buri Palm (African Raffia). Any imperfections and variation in color, texture and weave is due to its natural material and is part of its charm. It features a hidden hinge for a cleaner look. Buttons are in mother of pearl.
