New Sealed DVD Long Way North (2015)

Long Way North (French: Tout en haut du monde, lit. 'At the very top of the world') is a 2015 French-Danish animated film directed by Rémi Chayé. Long Way North is a hand-drawn animated film about a young Russian aristocrat who sets off to find her grandfather and save her family's reputation. The movie is set in late 19th century Saint Petersburg. Plot: Sasha, a 15-year-old girl from the Russian aristocracy, runs away from home to find her grandfather, Oloukine, who has been missing since his expedition to the North Pole. Sasha's parents disapprove of her fascination with her grandfather and have arranged for her marriage Sasha encounters danger, including a shipwreck, a snowstorm, and more. The movie has themes of loyalty and doing the right thing. Approximate Run time: 81 minutes The DVD is sealed but it sounds like a piece of plastic is rattling inside.
