@angiehartle hello - in Vancouver you could easily wear these for spring fall and most of winter. Not insulated so they might not work in really cold conditions. I have copy of the listing with measurements. I do not have size 39. The 38 measures 10” on the bottom. And is probably like a 7.5-8. The 40 fits a 9-9.5 and the 41 a 10. Best to check a pair of your own and see. People who have purchased them do really like them and they look like a great boot me.
