Chinese character of DOUBLE HAPPINESS in the center of a hatched textured “coin” medallion. Some light oxidation on hatched texture for contrast detailing. Framed by Wavy undulating wire edges and tiny “nuggets”. On silver smooth setting. 20 mm not including bail. Very fine smooth thin silver curb chain. Tight small links that don’t tangle or snag like others this small. 15”. Not quite 1 mm thick. New vintage c. 1970s. Probably made in Hong Kong. Hallmarks: “DSTER” on reverse of pendant, “STER” and “illegible” (maybe SILV, but I’m really not sure). Note: first three pictures (including cover shot) are after I polished with toothpaste.
