New vintage XL wicker basket iPhone measurements 56 cm diameter mouth 40 cm deep 44 cm diameter bottom Four visible types of weaving, twisting, braiding (including the bottom). Interesting reinforced bottom (never noticed that before). Dark Golden colour with time. Some browns in the strips are also darker. This is the thickest and biggest of all the baskets listed. I think it’s over 5 lbs for sure but I’m not sure if it’s over 10 lbs. New vintage c. 1970s-1980s. Natural wicker or rattan. Lacquered, I think. I thought all of the baskets were handmade in India but some still have stickers are made in China. I think this one is handmade in China because it is similar to the one with a sticker. It’s too big for any bags or boxes. So it’s a bit dusty but I will wipe it down before shipping.
