New vintage costume birthstone ring June pink-purplish Alexandrite or February amethyst? (Amethyst is more purple and darker, I think) I can’t make up my mind! Every time I look at it I flip flop! Faux. You can see facets in the light. It’s a pretty colour because it draws you in to really look at the colour! Not just for June & February birthday people! Goldtone band with beautiful simple diamond cut chevron zigzag designs. Shiny! Almost 3 mm wide, +1 mm thick. Solid feel and lightweight. New vintage c. 1970s. Costume gold and faux gem.
