New vintage emerald cocktail ring

New vintage emerald cocktail ring C. 6.5 7x9 mm x2 mm cabochon Almost 6 mm tall not including gem 3 mm band, thicker Rustic minimalist modern x gorgeous maximalist in terms of shine and wow! The rectangular pseudo-emerald cut stone is supposed to be a genuine emerald. But I always thought it looked weird. Now I know that emeralds CAN look like this! But I’m still not sure! New vintage c. 1970s. Hallmark: NIC???. PROBABLY made in Korea because I have many Smoky Topaz rings that are made in Korea with the hallmark NICCOP! Some are also marked SILVER. So I’m not sure what this is. I only had a few non-smoky topaz gemstones. So this one is special! 😀👍 This was NOT black so I didn’t need to polish it at all. Which means it probably wasn’t silver or has a thick coating on top! Group photos show the variety in the collection This is still a lovely treasure, brand new, from almost 50 years ago!
