New vintage jade polished pearls beads necklace Quick list. Measurements to follow. I know the jade stone can come in various colours but this doesn’t look like Nephrite / Canadian jade. It may be Chinese jade which is quite expensive. But it may be a lookalike semiprecious gemstone. It has a beautiful milky opaque soft green colour. Each bead / pearl is hand knotted with a matching coloured string. Gorgeous high polished finish. I can see some black and coloured flecked inclusions in some of the “pearls”. New. Vintage c. 1980s. Mined in ??? but probably made in China or Korea. Quality, secure, filigreed goldtone clasp with hallmark: SILVER. Press button release. The overall quality is wonderful to feel and see in this piece. Note: a loose white thread held a price tag.
