New vintage stone or ceramic beaded necklace (502 style tag) Very earthy. Reminds me of segmented earthworms! 🪱 Cool earth tones in dark browns, creams, taupes, beiges, greiges. I thought these were made of cut polished tumbled rocks because I have some similar ones to be posted hopefully soon. But the more I handled them (especially the edges), they seem like baked clay or pottery. EXCEPT these feel very DENSE and HEAVY like stone. Graduated beaded style: 15.25” Beads: round and cylinder polished “stone” beads: 4x11 mm cylinder (8) 6x12 mm cylinder (8) 6x6 mm round beads (10) 5x5 mm round beads (2) Spacers: 1x1 mm round: 2-3 gold amber glass or plastic beads between each larger “stone” beads (68) Center & feature offset: “stone” bead 9x12 mm (1) XL 4x4 round beads (4) Screw twist white fastener: 10x4 mm I thought this was stone too because of the white pearlescent colour. But I think it’s a hard, cold plastic? Or resin again? New vintage c. 1970s. Probably by Artistic Jewellery (Canadian company). Either polished stone or ceramic or resin. Unknown string (can’t see between beads or through the amber spacers). Manufacturer’s tag still attached. Another gorgeous, organic find! Unused, unworn with tags attached from the 1970s! Group photos show the variety in the collection. The necklace in this listing is darker in colour than the other two (502).
