Hi there, there, I am Lidija with the "J" which is part of phonetic transcription of the alphabet (one letter=one sound, the letter does not change sound if pronounced alone or within a sentence). I have joined this community as I have, like most of your, I presume, accumulated so much clothes that I would need a two or more life cycles to ware it all. I am not sure why I did this but I think it is due to an accelerated life style that seems to always demand of me a "anything goes" clothes. In light of that, sopping comes as a stress-relief where I am allowed to purchase things while imagining my future life rather than actually living it. I must apologize to those of you who are trying to sell here in order to survive and I promise that I will share your listings to help your goals. The image I have selected as an introduction is that of the sneaker I have painted for my son for his b-day. He has been deeply interested in animals and their behavior since the day he could pint at things. So, yes, I am a very well trained artists who shows nationally and internationally - not the sneaker art, of course :) I am looking forward to meet (all?) of you so if you have any comment regarding our Posh adventures or any other constructive one, please drop me a line and I will respond. deborahsanford Hi, Lidija—I DID receive both of your messages!! Flying is definitely not a pleasant experience these days. When I began, in the early 70’s, even passengers in Coach Class (as it was called then) dressed up for their flights. We served a full hot meal, with choice of entree, in Coach, as well. As flight attendants, we had to follow strict appearance (weight, too!) standards. It was an exciting part of my life, but the absolute BEST part of my life is being a Mom!! Take Care 🌺 Deborah

deborahsanford So TRUE! You could not have described it better. Believe me when I tell you that it does get easier. By the time they are 4-5 you start wanting to freeze time for a bit because they are so precious. They become more self-sufficient and their little personalities are blossoming. Trust me on this!!

masa2021 Yes, my younger one is 2.5 and my older one (the Nike addict) is 10, so he helps out a bit but only as long as it is fun for him. I love it when they are 3, 4, 5 and curious. At 10+ they get annoying as all they want to do is show off so to secure their place in the community :) What they do not realize thus far is that I am a bigger child then they are :):):)

I also consider any event as a potential to make art. Drawing or painting is as much art as cooking or gardening or examining tissue cells or attempting to figure out the temperature of a distant star. All of these require a level of creative effort to different degree. Art is a way of thinking. I too hope that you are practicing your art whenever you can 🎈♥️
