Nikon Surprise - Starter Camera Set, 1 camera, 1 lens, 1 strap, 1 memory chip, 1 battery, 1 charger. For yourself or as gift to someone new to photography, a Nikon brand high quality camera with Nikon brand legendary lens that works well together, with all the accessories needed to get started, including strap, battery, charger and memory chip for camera. Smartphone cameras are brilliantly convenient, as you have it with you, but they cannot outdo the features of a large sensor camera and purpose built lenses. Phone cameras have killed off the cheap pocket point-and-shoot camera already, but there’s still so much they can’t do in comparison to a true purpose-built DSLR camera. Low light image quality in sharpness and colour, convincing background bokeh fuzzy effects, true long distance telephoto candid shots and extreme close-up macro photography are all still undeniably better on a real camera. A real DSLR has a large sensor within to capture megapixels of sensitivity and a multitude of interchangeable lens types exists for you to explore which ones will fulfill your picture needs. The camera in this kit will be able to setup to just point and shoot. The Camera will also be able to set shutter speed, aperture opening ASA sensor granularity, white balance for colors, color vivacity, and other camera/lens settings that make photography such a great balance of art and science. Treat yourself or a friend with an inexpensive start to DSLR photography. PDF of camera manual

billcam Starters are just that for everyday walk around shots. These digital cameras normal view is similar to eyes is at 35mm. (film was 50mm). Smaller than 35 gives wide angle; portraits is about 85mm and longer reach is 200mm for focal length of lenses. These starters will come with 18mm to 55mm or 28-80mm etc, whatever is available. The other part of equation is speed of lens (size of glass for light), pro's use f2.8 (thousands of dollars) while these are f5.6, essentially half the size. cont

billcam Continued...Wildlife pros use 200-500 mm zooms with f2.8. So for beginning wildlife you need a longer lens of at least 300mm or higher. I have an AFP 70-300mm zoom listed, but it is only f6.3, it gives great sharp shots from distance, but need outdoor daylight. It only works with D3300 and higher, newer cameras. I have those cameras, but they are not listed. Summary, D3300 camera, 70-300 lense each $300 or both $500 as a kit. This is missing the walkaround lens for everyday shots. Regr
