Noritake Sugar Shaker, Antique Porcelain Muffineer, Made in Japan, 1920s

Porcelain sugar caster / shaker with hand painted band of Art Deco style red and blue flowers on black. Body of sugar caster is a peach luster. Gold gilding on top of shaker. Height: 6 1/2" Backstamp: "Noritake - (M wreath) - Hand Painted - Made in Japan From 1890 to 1921 Noritake marked with ‘Nippon’ until the McKinley Tariff act when the country of manufacture had to be used ‘Japan’. This dates this sugar caster to 1920 or earlier. Vintage Condition: NO chips. NO cracks. NO crazing. Wear to gold gilt on top. No cork in bottom
