barbarlyn @ecjw Thanks very much for your prompt reply. I just realized you have measured the sleeves as 17 inches long. Is that from the armpit or the shoulder? If it is the shoulder they would be very, very short, more like a three/quarter length sleeve. Sorry to have to ask this, but could you please let me know how you measured? I love the jacket, but if the sleeves are actually that short my arms would not be covered in the cooler weather. Thanks again. Love this coat and your trench coat!

ecjw So sorry for my late reply!! Yes, the 17 1/2" is from the armpit (and NOT from the shoulder.)
