Vintage set of 8 Community Plate by Oneida demitasse spoons, South Seas pattern. The design is a wave design in the top handle of the spoon. Silver plate glossy finish. Discontinued pattern. Recently polished. This is an absolutely wonderful set and great find! The length is approximately 4.5" long. This set of spoons display a small amount of wear due to use. Very good vintage condition! The demitasse spoon is a diminutive spoon, smaller than a teaspoon. It is traditionally used for coffee drinks in specialty cups, such as a demitasse, and for spooning cappuccino froth. It can also used as a baby spoon.
