A one-of-a-kind, handmade, handpainted in glaze, Tonala style ceramic pendant by artist Ken Edwards. Ken Edwards made precious few jewelry pieces, so finding one is very rare! Ken Edwards is known for not repeating patterns, which makes his pieces one-of-a-kind. This particular piece of jewelry is a stunning painting of a butterfly on a branch. The back is signed by the artist. A bit about the artist: "Ken Edwards was born in the USA, educated in the Arts in Kansas City, Missouri and studied his art in Japan. You will see the Asian influences in his "Collection" series. In the 1960's Ken Edwards migrated to the crafts village of Tonala, in Central Mexico, where he founded the company known as Ken Edwards Stoneware."
