ORIGINAL Tempera Painting Signed & Dated by Artist, Read Description for Details

This is an unusual and possibly one-of-a-kind (OOAK) item! It is an original painting (using tempera paint) that is signed and dated by the artist. The painting is on matboard and is in great condition. There are no marks, stains, or other signs of damage to the picture. It is dated 19 June 1990 Halifax, and I believe the signature is BEATA BLAROWSKA. The painting measures 5.5 by 7.5 inches; the matboard backing is 8 by 10 inches. Despite much searching, I have not been able to find out anything about the artist or this piece anywhere online. It is beautifully detailed and very colorful! The focal point is a vase of colorful flowers. Underneath the vase are a "courting couple" - a male figure playing a violin who looks to be a butterfly, and a female figure holding a red bird that looks to be a flower. The date appears to the left of the male figure, and the artist's signature appears to the right of the female figure.
