I'm so glad you wrote since I have a few questions. First how do you price point a item? A lot of mine will be considered vintage since their from the 90's.
Then taking all these pictures can be difficult. Once I post a listing I can do my profile.. right?
I feel like the kid in the classroom who always has he's up driving the teacher crazy.

@tinatw311 Vintage from the 90's (LOL bc those were my college and single girl working years) will go over great with the millennials! As a general rule, I research the brand and search for comparables on Posh and Google, see if I can find what others have sold for and what the original price is. I aim for somewhere between 1/3 of the original 'new' price and half. Unless it's something super popular, which vintage can be, and then try to figure out what market is based on what's sold recently

@tinatw311 The picture taking can be difficult, but it got much easier once I bought a bust mannequin. I found one on Craigslist pretty cheap. Also, I just found an app called ClippingMagic.com that's online and can replace the background with a white background, you have to pay a bit, but if you can't find a stock photo it helps make your closet look cleaner.

I've only been active since February, btw. Look on Facebook and there are some groups that have tips, etc. where I've learned a lot. Join those and read about other people's experiences. Also, if you can get on someone's Follow Group, they'll notify you of parties in advance and recommend you for host picks if they like your closet and style. I can refer you too!

Those will be difficult. Thank you for telling me how to price an item. I had no idea how I was going to do that part. I know you became a high seller quickly. Incredible. You did the work as far as research, documenting, and numbers.
Of course we know merchandising.
I need to step back and just list or I won't. Unfortunately, being trained so long with those standards.

@tinatw311 One more thing, always better to err on the higher side of price, then you have room to negotiate. I've seen some people's closets become known for having low prices and then buyers expect everything there to be super cheap.

@dressinglauren Hi Lauren, I did go to FB and couldn't believe all the complaints. Might have been on the wrong page. It looks like I'm going to have a difficult time pricing my items. I have no idea what to list them at. Especially the ones I have nothing to compare to. Your so sweet checking up on me. It means the world to me. I guess I'm just going to have to come up with a price that's fair to both!!!!

First, I want to Thank You All for you support, kind words and encouragement. I had such a difficult time with the photos. Most of the ones I took didn't fit within the boundaries of their lines. Believe me at this point I was already frustrated. So, who knows what I'm going to do. It was a great experience and the great thing I know now is where to SHOP !!!! Yeah.

I'm sorry it took me so long. This is what I did with the Reflex: I measured it from the black strap-L 15 1/4" W- From the top- 13 1/4"
From the bottom- 11 1/4"
Sweater: L 14" W- 14 1/4"
The ties- 15"
I don't remember what I had them listed at.

@tinatw311 OK I see you have 3 things listed but nor for sale,start with those 3 I would list the 2 exercise wear at 15$ each,once they sale print out your shipping labels and make sure that you use the correct boxes from the post office, they are the mailing boxes NOT the flat rate although they look the same but the ones you need will say mailing box in small print, they will help you at the post office as well
