Oaxaca Alebrijes Folk Art Wall Plaques - Pair Set - Vintage

Circa 1960s, vintage set of two vibrant wall folk art plaques, handcrafted by Mexican artisans. Carved from copal wood and intricate vibrant painted designs is indicative of Oaxacan high quality craftsmanship deeply rooted in the regions of pre-Hispanic and indigenous cultural. Carved girl and boy has raised 3D texture. Please view photos as part of the description for your consideration. One ring is missing but a new hanger can be affixed to the back. Purchased for myself but unfortunately did not suit the room’s vision. I love these but must part with these old beauties.
