Occupied Japan Small Toby Character Jug Creamer Male Head

A very cute little collectible from the 1950s, this little character mug is made to replicate the popluar Toby jugs that originated in English pottery. This colonial gentleman features a cobalt blue hat and has a slightly mischievous look about him. Hand painted. The bottom is stamped Made in Occupied Japan. A charming collectible. He measures 2.5" tall and 3.75" across to tip of handle. In very good vintage condition, with only a tiny paint scratch on the handle.
