Oliberté Ralini suede leather loafer flats / smoking slippers. Premium suede leather upper in Sand beige colour, with 100% goat leather lining. Handcrafted front fringe. Leather insole. Natural crepe rubber sole with African map pattern on outsole. The construction of these shoes is quite handmade and rustic. Oliberté is a Canadian brand that used to make all their shoes at their own factory in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, using quality sustainable materials. Their respect for the dignity and rights of their workers made them the world’s first Fair Trade Certified footwear manufacturing factory at the time. Size EU 37. These fit snug on my US 7 feet, as the toe box is quite narrow. I'd say they run between a half size to a full size small. The toe box is unlined, so I think these shoes would need to be worn with a sock or tight to prevent rubbing from the stitching, at least until the stitching softens up. I bought these at a display/sample sale - they are brand new but there are some imperfections, a few marks on the leather and sole, and signs of being on display (see photos).
