Original 1971 Dated Canadian Army ECW Parka Extreme Cold – Size XL

Original 1971 Dated Canadian Army ECW Parka Extreme Cold – Size XL A rare, original 1971-dated Canadian Army Extreme Cold Weather Parka in extra large. Built for harsh conditions, this parka features a rugged olive nylon shell, thick insulation, and a waterproof design. The integral hood has a fur trim and wool shirting lining, secured with a drawstring and plastic stoppers. Additional drawstrings at the waist and hem provide an adjustable fit. The front fastens with a 'Lightning' brand zipper marked 'LF' for Lightning Fasteners, while the pockets feature turn-back flaps, similar to British military ventile smocks and parkas. Inside, the original label remains intact, reading Parka, Man’s CF, OG107 Cold Weather, made by North West Sportswear Ltd., dated March 1971, and marked size XL. Measurements when laid flat: Chest: 29" Inside arm: 20" Outside arm: 26 ½" Shoulders: 22 ½" Back length: 36" The parka is in good great with signs of wear, displaying well and remaining fully wearable. Some minor staining is present, and a hole on the arm. (see last photo). As a vintage, pre-owned piece, expect minor age-related imperfections.
