This is an original work of art by Canadian aboriginal artist David McKay. The colours are stunning. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada in the spring of 1961 and passed away around the year 2000. He was a Cree Aboriginal of the Island Lake Garden Hill First Nation, Manitoba. David McKay took an early interest in art, and started drawing on his own in grade school. He began his work with sketching, and later moved to using black indian ink in his work.
Note there are condition issues to this piece, including 'dirt/smudges'. It is now wrapped in acid free paper to protect the colours and prevent it from further issues.
David McKay is one of the artists' whose work is sold at Canadian Plains Gallery in Winnipeg. This is a nice piece. Check out the closet. Bundles save on shipping. Thanks. 5091
