Vintage Maxfield Parrish art print titled “Thy Rocks and Rills”, also known as “The Old Mill.” First created in 1942 for Brown & Bigelow’s 1944 calendar, this dreamy countryside scene features a rustic mill beside a gentle stream, framed by majestic mountains and Parrish’s signature glowing light. This mid-20th-century halftone lithograph was produced for decorative display (not cut from a calendar) and remains vibrant, with one small white spot near the bottom from printing (see photo). Housed in its original gold-tone wood frame with wire hanger and “Otten Gallery” label on the back. Measurements: Framed: 15.5” H × 12.25” W × 0.75” D (39.4 × 31.1 × 1.9 cm) Visible image: 14” H × 10.75” W (35.6 × 27.3 cm) Condition: Print is clean and colorful with minor printing flaw. Frame is sturdy with light scratches and scuffs consistent with age.
