Original, mid century, hand painted, reverse image glass, South American village life painting in ready-to-hang hand crafted wood frame. Peruvian folk art town life scene featuring vivid buildings, traditional clothing,  alpacas, and the Andes mountains. Great gallery wall or stand alone piece. • Crafted 1950's-1960's • 5.5" x 7.5" Reverse painting on glass is an art form consisting of applying paint to a piece of glass. Following an opposite succession of layers of paint, the front most layer is applied first and the background layer last, and then viewing the image by turning the glass over and looking through the glass at the image.  Note: This original handmade piece of MCM art is unsigned.  Condition is excellent, with some wear to the frame as seen in the photos.
