Original WW2 U.S. Army 3/4 Heavy Wool Coat

Original WW2 U.S. Army 3/4 length soldiers heavy wool coat. This light brown coat features a two pocket front with top flaps, has all it’s original large size buttons and is fully lined. The interior has the coat manufacturer’s label Kahn Tailoring Co. of Indianapolis (interesting company history, worth looking up) and the label of the wool supplier, A. D. Ellis Mills of Monson Mass. The interior pocket also has the date (12/43), serial number and name of the lieutenant the coat was assigned to. This coat’s approx. measurements are: 19" from shoulder seam to shoulder seam 19" from armpit to armpit 17” long inner sleeve 25” long outer sleeve 36" from top of the coat to it’s bottom This coat is heavy! Weighs 3 to 5 lbs. This coat is in good condition showing overall average age and wear. The left side button holes show greater wear than the right side.
