Original Watercolor Woodland Painting Framed

Sweet woodland creatures watercolor painting, complete with matte, frame, and mounting hardware. Painting features a curious bear and chipmunk pair along with a robin bird in flight and a mysterious face peeking through the flowers. Tall grass, fallen autumn leaves and wildflowers, such as lupins, fill in this touching scene. • Artist signed J. Bones (or Bone) • Purchased in Saint John, New Brunswick • Painting measures 8" x 12" I could not find this artist, or even the last name Bones, in Canada. I did find the name of an artist, John Bone, who was an art teacher and the art curator for the Museum of NB in Saint John. Could this be his work? Maybe, but I couldn't find any examples of his art or his signature. In any case, it is a wonderful piece of art done by an accomplished artist. Note: There is scuffing on the plastic frame in several spots.
