Orla Kiely Printed Tote Bag If you know this designer - you'll immediately recognize her signature print - which she interprets every season in slightly different colour stories and silhouettes. Founded in the 90's - her playful sort of 60's vibe carries strong throughout her collection. If you're a Comrags (Toronto based designers) fan, this really falls completely in line with that aesthetic, but lots of fans of Prada's original vibe (that sort of contrasting-prints with a 60's vibe - thinking pencil skirts and kitten heels, etc) could style Orla Kiely in that way also. This bag is done in a coated canvas, and has a very strong and sturdy strap - meaning that you could really put everything but the kitchen sink (including bricks) inside and you'd be comfortable carrying this on the arm or the shoulder. Great as a work tote - as it does fit a laptop (mine at least - i have a pretty standard size - not the gigantic one and not the tiny one) - and it did also fit my laptop with the case on it as well. If you are using it as a work tote, you'd have to choose between putting in a lunch, or a laptop, as it would not hold both!! I love that it comes with a little lobster clasp for keeping your keys on (it's on an elasticated rope, so you can pull it a bit - another well thought out detail).
