“The Blue Boy and Pinkie” Vintage Brass Metal Framed Pair Mid Century Wall Print. Both of them in good vintage condition. Made in Italy “The Blue Boy," it is a print from an oil painting by Thomas Gainsborough from around 1770. Originally titled "A Portrait of a Young Gentleman," it gained the nickname "The Blue Boy" later on. "The Pinkie", it is a print from an oil painting by Sir Thomas Lawrence in 1794. It portrays Sarah Barrett Moulton, nicknamed "Pinkie," at the age of 11.
