Oval Serving Dish by Solian Ware Simpsons (Potters) LTD, Cobridge England 1940s

Dimensions. Dish length 12.25 in (31 cm), width 9.75 in (24.5 cm). Condition. Very good vintage condition. There are some signs of wear, but given the age, very minor. Please see photos. Chips, cracks, stains, glaze cracking - NO any of that. Description. Vintage oval flat serving dish. Burgundy border with small gold symbols of royal lilies, filigree, scallop edge. The dish was made in England by the Simpsons (Potters) LTD manufactory, which was previously called Soho pottery. The stamp on this plate was used by the company from 1944 to 1951.
