The first picture looks different than the last 3 pictures . Is the first picture the closer to the actual colour

@lynnr1960 hi! It is sort of somewhere in between (the last pictures I used flash) it’s a taupe colour similar to the first picture maybe a tiny bit more grey in person :)

@allieemacc hi:) the material is quite elastic! I have pretty wide calves and they stayed up nicely !

@allieemacc it’s hard to describe but there’s a faint line on either side and the small bit of the front is a bit stiffer so the front looks good on, and they put this more elastic material around the back and sides which hold the boot up nicely

are these a true 8.5 and do you think they're suitable for wider feet?

@zz88 hey! I actually have wide feet and they fit around as the material is quite stretchy which is helpful. They defs are true to size I got them as a gift and I’m a size 9 but they’re an 8.5 and they were just a bit too short for me!
