The heel is comfortable to walk in so you can be warm AND stylish in the winter! These are a size 9 and can be worn with just a thin sock, they are that warm. Buckles are for show - boots zip up along the back seam. Shaft hits about two inches below the knee, measures 13 inches tall from the insole.
