PENDLETON 50s/60s Plaid 49er Jacket Chore Coat. Excellent Condition

Win Vintage with this exceptional 50s/60s 100% Virgin Wool 49er Jacket from PENDLETON. Portland Oregon. Excellent Vintage Condition. No moth bites or fade-near perfect. The only issue is that small shoulder pads could have been cut out, but this doen's impact drape or detract in any way.Tradtional shell buttons in excellent condition. Beautiful trending colorway of chocoate brown and mocha mouse. The wool feels vintage- a mild roughness to it that only adds to the vintage appeal. I don't find it itchy, but you might if you are sensitive to wool. The weave is amazing- the black stripes have texture to them and feel like a chenille. There are some variations and inconsistencies in the weave (see right chest) 49er jackets have varied in style over the years. This one diifers from the classic in that it has flap instead of patch pockets, no back yoke, and no button cuffs. These details give it a more modern look inspite of it's age. Condition- Excellent- a variation in weave at top right chest, possibly small should pads have cut out. Please see last two photos. This has been thoroughly steamed. has a very very minor vintage smell - still wearable without washing. Size- would fit small to medium depending on fit- please see measurements.
