POMANDÈRE Heavy Linen Jacket Coat 40 in Cocoa

A beautiful coat from Pomandère in a heavy linen & cotton blend, with a cotton lining. Fine construction. It has an oversized fit, but it’s not shapeless. An almost-cocoon shape. The colour is called cocoa. The video really captures the colour best. It’s such a rich, complex colour when you look closer at the fabric. The coat snaps closed with one snap at the front. There is a lined pocket on either side. Made in Italy. Size 40. Could fit a range of sizes, given the loose fit. Please see the measurements to be sure. Good condition. There are a couple of small items to note. There is a little nubble on the back, as pictured. It’s a wee loop in the fabric that sticks out a bit. I bought the coat new and it’s always been there. The fabric isn’t pulled or harmed by this. There are two areas on the lining where the colour from the outer material has transferred. Near the neck, and inside near the waist. Very faint colour transfer. The snap stitches will need reinforcing. I don’t have the right colour of thread, so I haven’t done it. I am happy to do this for you in black, which would match the snap rather than the hardware. I’ve opted to leave it in original state for now. Just let me know! Otherwise, this is in very good shape. A great transitional season coat, and layers easily with sweaters… even bulky ones! The chest is 25 inches across, the length is 32 inches measured down the centre back.
