PRESSED GLASS CREAM & SUGAR - COLORADO

This is an antique ‘Colorado’ pressed glass cream and sugar set, c.1898. One of the ‘States Series’ patterns produced by U.S. Glass, ‘Colorado’ has a sleek, clear, rounded body and ornately patterned feet. These are heavily gilded, as are the beaded rim edges on both pieces. The creamer measures 5 ¼ inches to the top of the spout; the sugar is shorter at 4 ½ inches, and both pieces are about 4 ½ inches wide across the belly. They are in excellent condition, without cracks, chips, stains, wear, or other damage or defect. Handsome!
