This is a genuine Sony PS4 KEM-490 disc drive pulled from a CUH-1115A system. The drive has been fully disassembled, cleaned, serviced, and tested. Testing and servicing included: • Smooth, strong disc loading • Clean eject mechanism • Spindle spins properly • Laser activates and sled moves • No grinding, sticking, or jamming • Rollers cleaned and operating correctly This drive is compatible with the following original PS4 models: CUH-1000 Series (KEM-490 compatible): • CUH-1000A • CUH-1001A • CUH-1004A • CUH-1008A CUH-1100 Series (your CUH-1115A belongs to this family): • CUH-1100A • CUH-1101A • CUH-1104A • CUH-1110A • CUH-1111A • CUH-1114A • CUH-1115A CUH-12XX Series (early units ONLY — check ribbon cable): • CUH-1200A • CUH-1201A • CUH-1205A IMPORTANT: Sony used different laser ribbon cable layouts on later CUH-12xx models. If your CUH-12xx model has a different laser ribbon cable orientation, you will need a KEM-860 drive instead. Daughterboard Notice: This listing does not include a daughterboard. Buyers MUST reuse their original daughterboard because it is married to their motherboard. A daughterboard from a different console will NOT read discs, so including mine would be useless to the buyer. Condition: Used, cleaned, tested, and working.
