Painted Ceramic Female Woman 12" Head Bust Form H: 12" L: 8" W: 6 DESCRIPTION NOTES: This piece came from a ceramic mold. I believe that the original mold contained both a female and a male head together. It looks like the male head broke off before the piece was fired in the kiln. Nice if you appreciate the symbolism here: after she broke off with her man, the woman became complete! But it does create an unusual opening at the top. Someone suggested you could place air plants or dried flowers here - not a bad idea, I think. CONDITION NOTES: Other than what I have noted above, this piece is in great condition! No chips, cracks or crazing.
