Handpainted ceramic wall art featuring a lovely woman admiring an urn. Delicately painted gold highlights and textured details add to its beauty and uniqueness. Signed at back. Artist unknown. There is a hanging hole at back in the canvas, though the piece could also lay flat or be placed in a stand. The artwork extends to its sides, which allows for more than one display possibility. Handpainted with a wash effect. Some areas have patches of white showing through, or what appears to be colour fade. Most is intentional by artist, some may be from age/display. Piece is handmade, used and possibly vintage. There are scratches to paint, marks at back, some tearing to canvas at hanging hole and possible tiny chips. (Hard to tell as some areas feel 'rough' but piece is textured and most of the irregularities in surface seem to be painted over by the artist). Measures approx 7 3/4 " x 7 3/4" Just over 1 1/4" in thickness
