Painted Oval Box with Lid

This little oval-shaped trinket box has a lid and is painted a deep red. The sides feature painted scenes with animals like antelope amongst tufts of grass, and the top of the lid is painted with a scene of several men walking ahead of 3 men atop an elephant. The bottom is painted black and has a sticker providing details about when and where it was made. The inside of the box is a glossy black, with some signs of wear visible inside the lid. There is normal wear throughout this piece that includes crackling in the interior paint, some marks and small dings on the exterior, and one spot on the lid where the lacquer/paint is maybe lifting or was retouched (legs of the leftmost person on the elephant).
