Pair of Ceramic Ships -Thermometer and Whiskey Jar

A pair of vintage ships (galleons, I believe) made in the 1960s or 70s. The ship on the left has an accurate thermometer which has the temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit; it is gold colored. The second ship, also gold but with blue, red, white and black as well, seems to be a whiskey flask or jar. It has a stopper and has never been used for that purpose -there is no smell or residue and the cork has no stains or wear. The ship on the left is 6 1/2" tall by 6 3/4" wide and is roughly 2 3/8" deep. It has a chip on the underside as in picture #6.
