Paragon Teacup & Saucer (1939-1949)

This sweet Paragon teacup and saucer dates from 1939-1949 and carries a 'double-warrant' mark, by appointment to the British Royal family and the British Government (see photos). It is a soft yellow on the inside, with hand-painted flowers in yellow, pink and violet. The outside of the cup is white and a fine gold line is painted on the rim, in the middle and on the base of the cup, as well as the handle. The item is in excellent condition, with now cracks, chips or crazing. It measures 4 inches in diameter, 2.25 inches high and the saucer is 5.25 inches in diameter.
