Paua Shell Pearl Necklace

The necklace was purchased in 2013 in New Zealand by me. Pāua Shell is found only in New Zealand and is a specialty there. This piece is absolutely lovely, there’s a reason I’ve held onto it. I’ve never worn it, so the hemp-like thread is still stiff. The box has some damage to it after a decade of storage.
