Peak Performance W’s Sapphire Parka - Winter coat

This jacket came in two weights, a “light” version, which had no insulation and the “coat” which has a synthetic insulation like primaloft. This is that version. Insulation: The fill on this coat is warm enough for West Coast winters. Not too heavy, not too light, making it very comfortable to wear. Waterproofing: Peak Performances own ‘HIPE’ waterproofing system. Rated to 25,000 mm. A dry layer is necessary out west and this coat doesn’t seep through with wet snow or rain. Have worn this in a downpour and I still never felt wet. Colour: labeled Ice white, it’s just slightly off white, towards grey not cream. I’ve received hundreds of compliments on the colour and style of this coat since buying. Fit: Boxy cut. Not curved. Please don’t buy this expecting it to be a tailored cut. The style of it is straight and that’s what makes it stylish. - Tail coat style bottom hem adds a flattering look. - Split sides with snap locks let’s you loosen the bottom of the coat to your own liking. - Two way zipper also convenient and makes the coat comfortable when sitting. - Oversized hood that peak performance is known for, with drawstring on sides and back allow for the hood to stay in place when you need it to and block the rain form dripping down your face. Sizing: Women’s Size small. This coat is true to Standard sizing, unlike from Peak Performance usually, which often runs smaller. I’m 5,3.5 - front comes down to mid thigh, back slightly longer.
