Pearl and Semi Precious Pink Stone (Ruby?) Drop Earrings

I am quite certain the stones are rubies, but are not high lustre/value just like the pearls. They have been worn around 3 times. The hooks that go into your ears are gold and stamped something too small to read. I suspect they are gold plated silver marked 925.These earrings are from India.
