This is Penny 🥰❤️💕 We went to the animal shelter in December 2018 and I asked to hold her. She climbed into my arms then ascended, placing her paws on my shoulder... bunting my chin and rubbing her smell on my face, neck and ears as she purred. She was six months old. My partner and I adopted her and brought her home. She tried to poop in our plant pots so I nick-named her Penny Pot Pooper. She likes necklaces, tops and scarves... toys, temptations treats and, most of all, love & attention.

kblacklotus @rachel_vinje She is super friendly. She's almost like a ragdoll. She started out being quite comfortable and we socialized her when she was young. Back when we lived in the city we had people over on a daily basis so she's used to people and attention. She has seperation anxiety so likes attention and affection. She also tolerates and even enjoys stuff most cats don't. She purrs super often which I find soothing. 🥰

maerayne @kristlbuckland I’ve got 2 myself. One is about 3 months and my 6 yr old cat loves him. Makes her young again… my 2 St Bernards in the other hand are still about scared of his tornado ways 🤣

kblacklotus @alchemistlynn That's awesome! 😊 I have a funny story. After we adopted her, my mother in law adopted a dog named Penny. they both had the names when we adopted them about a year apart and it wasn't planned at all. Now, when we visit my MIL we bring the cat and if anyone addresses either Penny, they are both a bit confused. 🤣

kblacklotus @maerayne I don't know how I missed your comment before. That's adorable! Are you saying... you got a kitten for your cat? My partner and I keep talking about doing that for Penny. It would be adorable. But we live in our trailer now so it will need to be a future thing. I don't think I can do two cats in an 18-foot trailer. 🤣

maerayne @kristlbuckland kind of. We found the kitten and his 2 siblings in the back of our acreage. Mom was gone so we bottle fed them. Found homes but kept the one. He thinks he’s part dog. Copies them all the time. His pic is the one on my page

evebbbb What a sweetheart! Temptations treats are universally adored, IDK what it is with them but I've yet to meet a cat that didn't crave them

kblacklotus @evebbbb likewise! Just to be silly, my partner and I actually taught her to respond to the word "Temptations" being whispered intensely, so we can say the word "treat" and she doesn't react... we can even say "temptations" in our normal voices and she doesn't react. But the minute I whisper "Temptations" she's up, meowing, checking our hands, standing on her back legs reaching. It's adorable and funny.
