This is a tea cup and saucer set made by Princess China in occupied Japan between 1945 and 1952. The pair are perforated, for the saucer near the rim and for the cup at its base, and are decorated with liberal amounts of gold and red flowers alongside green leaves. There is some wear of the gold on the saucer.
The cup stands 2 1/8" tall, has a 3 3/4" wide mouth and the saucer is 5 5/8" across.
