Pink Opal Gemstone Threader Earrings in Gold

This pair of pink opal earrings contains a stack of smooth gemstones that flash with color. The stones have an overall rosy pink hue but flash blue, yellow and green in the direct light. These stones have been treated to achieve this unique and pretty shade of pink. The little stacks of stones swing at the end of lightweight, gold-filled threaders, and are the ideal gift for a woman with an October birthday. Opal is the birthstone for October. Each set of opals is unique. Your earrings will contain stones that are very similar to, but not identical to those pictured. Please contact me if you would like to request additional photos. Earrings are approx. 3 5/8" (9.2cm) long from the end of the threader post to the bottom of the gemstones. Threader earrings may be worn at different lengths depending on your preference; these will hang approx. 2" from your ear, with the rest of the chain at the back. The stack of stones is approx. 5/16" (8mm) tall. Included is a pair of plastic clutches that you can thread onto the back of the earrings for added security. Your jewellery will be packaged in a small gift box. Gift wrapping is available upon request. What is Gold-Filled? Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plate, it will not wear off.
