The Pokémon Pikachu Match 'Em Catch 'Em game is a fun and interactive board game released by Hasbro and Milton Bradley in 1999.
Here’s a brief description of how it works:
Game Components
27 Pikachu Cards: Each card features a different Pikachu image.
Pikachu Mix-Up Machine: A mechanical device with three rollers for ears, face, and body.
4 Thundershock Bolts: Suction cup-tipped sticks used to “catch” Pikachu cards.
How to Play
Start the Round: The youngest player presses the button on the Pikachu Mix-Up Machine, which spins the rollers to display a unique Pikachu image.
Match and Catch: Players must find the matching Pikachu card from the 27 cards laid out and use their Thundershock bolts to “catch” it by whacking the card with the suction cup.
Winning the Round: If multiple players go for the same card, the player whose Thundershock bolt is on the bottom wins the card.
Special Rule: If the machine shows a Pikachu that has already been captured, players can try to re-capture it from the player who originally caught it.
Objective
The first player to catch 5 Pikachu cards wins the game.
It’s a lively game that combines quick reflexes with a love for Pokémon, making it a hit among fans of all ages!
